The Bushmen, also known as the San people, are a group of indigenous people who have lived in southern Africa for thousands of years. They have a rich cultural history and are known for their unique clothing and fashion choices.
Traditionally, Bushmen clothing was made from materials that were readily available in their environment, such as animal skins and plants. The type of clothing worn by Bushmen was largely determined by the climate and region in which they lived. For example, in colder regions, Bushmen would wear clothing made from animal skins to keep warm, while in hotter regions, they would wear loincloths made from plant fiber to stay cool.
In modern times, Bushmen clothing has evolved to include a mix of traditional and modern materials. Many Bushmen still make their clothing using traditional methods, such as using plant fibers to make loincloths and animal skins to make shoes and belts. However, they also incorporate modern materials like cotton and polyester into their clothing.
One of the most distinctive features of Bushmen clothing is the use of vibrant colors and patterns. Bushmen use natural dyes made from plants and insects to create brightly colored clothing and accessories. They also use beadwork and other decorative elements to add extra flair to their outfits.
Overall, Bushmen clothing reflects the unique culture and history of the San people. It is a blend of tradition and modernity, with a focus on practicality and self-expression. Whether made from traditional materials or modern fabrics, Bushmen clothing is a testament to the creativity and ingenuity of the San people.

The simple huts are used to guard a few personal belongings and to protect the meat that is being dried; to sleep the San curl up in a hole, dug in the open sand near the fire, and cover themselves with a cloak. Adoption of the Khoekhoe term San in Western anthropology dates to the 1970s, and this remains the standard term in English-language ethnographic literature, although some authors later switched back to using the name Bushmen. Van der Post's work brought indigenous African cultures to millions of people around the world for the first time, but some people disparaged it as part of the subjective view of a European in the 1950s and 1960s, stating that he branded the San as simple "children of Nature" or even "mystical ecologists". We had already created more than thirty unique collections of clothes and accessories, which as a result foreshadowed the BUSHMAN style of dressing. For example, he has denied entry to the country of one of the San defense lawyers, the scottish Gordon Benett; has imposed a price for obtaining water within the Reserve and an annual limit for animals to be hunted; and has placed guards at the entrance to the Reserve to control people entering it.
