Freud's most well-known theory is the concept of the psyche, which he believed was made up of three parts: the id, ego, and superego. The id is the part of the psyche that is responsible for our primal urges and desires, the ego is the part that mediates between the id and the outside world, and the superego is the part that represents our moral and ethical standards.
Freud also developed the concept of the unconscious mind, which he believed was the source of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that we are not aware of.
