Tub took the bolt out of his rifle and climbed in beside him. Human beings that stumble upon his island have to play by his rules and are challenged to see if they can survive three days while being hunted by the master of hunting. Tub was for trying someplace different; two years in a row they'd been up and down this land and hadn't seen a thing. He garners my sympathy for these mundane men, and keeps me pondering over this story long after I have finished it. The magic in his writing though. The room behind him was filled with smoke. They covered themselves with a couple of blankets Kenny had brought along and pulled down the muffs on their caps.
