Full disclosure: I won this book through FirstReads. One house is Mumm, which has worn a royal warrant since 1964. There was a time while reading that I felt shock, amazement, and love all at the same time. Normally books end up killing him at the beginning, but not here. First of all, it's a very simplistic version of this piece of history. In the end, this was certainly a good take on the famous Alienor's life.

Still she gave it her best shot, and during his 15 years of her marriage, she traveled and lived more than most people do in a lifetime. We believe the old analogy of life being a tapestry. Now, if she can find the strength to fight for what she wants, Eleanor may finally find the passion she has longed for, and the means to fulfill her legacy as Queen. The good news is that just as with bike riding, once you learn it, you will always know how to do it, and with a little practice you'll get really good at it. Author Christy English takes on the famous Eleanor of Aquitaine in her latest novel To Be Queen. Let me know if that exists. I did like how she ended it.

Obviously Eleanore fascinates English, and that's a good thing, because I for one am eager for further installments of Eleanore's story as reimagined by English. English makes it very clear throughout th I cannot believe that I've overlooked Christy English's books so long. Fortunately Eleanor retains her dignity, and also hangs onto Aquitaine. A queen must not look at things from only one point of view.
Sometimes, however, warrants are dropped from packaging for more base commercial reasons. The Middle ages did not interest me in history lessons at school, and I have neglected this period in my historical fiction reading. One of the reception rooms where guests are entertained is decorated with a burgundy red carpet with distinct patterns.
