By the time we arrived, the movie had begun. As we rushed through the doors of the theater, we could hear the sound of the opening credits blasting from the speakers. Our friends had saved us seats, but as we tried to make our way through the crowded aisle, it became clear that we were going to be late.
We had planned to meet up with our friends at the theater an hour before the movie started, but a series of unexpected delays had thrown off our schedule. First, there was the traffic jam on the highway that had slowed us down. Then, when we finally arrived at the theater, we had to wait in line to buy tickets. By the time we finally made it inside, the previews were already over and the main feature had started.
As we took our seats, we couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. We had been looking forward to this movie for weeks, and now we were going to miss the beginning. But as the story unfolded on the screen, we quickly became engrossed in the action. Despite the fact that we had missed the opening scene, we were able to follow along and enjoy the rest of the movie.
In the end, our late arrival ended up being a minor inconvenience. Sure, we missed the beginning of the movie, but we were still able to have a great time with our friends. And as we left the theater and talked about the film on the way home, we realized that it didn't matter when we arrived - what mattered was that we were able to share the experience together.
