Milo ice was great, malaysian fried rice was spot on, the beef rendang was delicious, the roti canai and its curry was fabulous. In particular, they do a coconut curry called Chicken Rendang, and a mildly spicy noodle dish called Indian Mee Goreng which is wonderful. Why or why not? I always go there during lunch and dinner because the foods are so awesome that makes you drool and always come back for more. There's a very small pool of good Malaysian restaurants to choose from, but add this to the list. The roti was good but I wish that the curry was thicker, it was so loose and thin we just drizzled it over the roti.

I would not go back. Some of their servings are pretty big, enough for you to eat with your family. Eat family style so you can try more dishes. This is one of my favorite restaurants. Also, don't sleep on the coconut flavored rice.

Posh French Cleaners had all but lost hope in their attempt at rank well in local search results. Could have been a bit more spicy but then Im way up there with spice so mild spice lovers will like it. The Roti Canai came out first with a side of curry for dipping. The rice had no flavor whatsoever, I'm not a fan of MSG or anything over salty but this rice just was bland and it wasn't even spicy, I had to ask for extra sambal just to add some spicy and some flavor to make it more appealing and appetizing to my palate. It takes slightly like the Roti Canai sauce when it's mixed with sugar but there's also a hint of ketchup and a few other spices. And the best part is they will make anything veggie. I think the award for that goes to Little Malaysia in El Monte.

Not my first time here, Came here with a Malaysian friend around 9:00 at night and ordered Teh Tarik, Thai Iced Tea, Roti Canai, Curry Puffs, Nasi Goreng and Nasi Lamak. . There are blocks with literallly dozens of different Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Korean to choose from, yet for some reason when it comes to Malaysian food it's increasingly difficult to find. This time I knew coz I had visited Kuala Lampur earlier this year. The Nasi Lamak was okay, I enjoyed the anchovies with onions but the rest of hte dish was ok. Pros: cheap, quick, open fairly late Cons: horrible food This restaurant.

Pros: food, service, space You could probably argue that this isn't authentic Malaysian cuisine. If you like spicy food, this is a good restaurant to eat. Best Dishes: Roti Canai, Ayam Panggang Kecum, Char Kuei Toew not my fave but very popular Curry Puffs, Satays Food - A- Ambience - B- Service - B+ Value - A-. As Malaysian food goes, I'm partial to the versions of most plates at LIttle Malaysia in El Monte. A You can contact Margrette Lee at 626 308-2036. The price was right but the food was awful. Definitely recommend this place. There might be a better place but I wanna go back to try their vast menu. Great overall experience, although the waiter disappeared after we finished eating. The Nasi Goreng had huge strips of chicken that were not even proportional to the rest of the ingredients in the dish, the rice also came with shrimp, peas and carrots.

For a few seconds I was disappointed, they don't serve it with sugar here which is what makes the plate so amazing, but pouring out your own sugar isn't that difficult and once I'd added a few packets to my plate all was right with the world. The fruit salad with a sweet soy dressing and peanuts was delicious. It's nothing that different, slightly different spices than you'd find in a Thai or Chinese restaurant but quite familiar. When it comes to Malaysian, the barometer has to be Roti Canai. Some of my recommedations are the Steam poh piah, Satay, Roti a must , Rojak combination of fruit salad, highly recommend , Curry laksa, asam laksa, beef rendang, Hainanese Roasted Chicken, Mango chicken curry, Lamb curry, Assam fish, and so on. Reminded me of what I would try to cook if I bought a Thai cookbook at a craft fair in Ohio - whitewashed, boring, full of transfats, and inauthentic. The dry cleaning industry is incredibly competitive in the local market. The food is very good, the menu is pretty extensive, and of course the staff is prompt and well mannered. Pros: Many options veggie too , inexpensive, lots of seating Cons: None really but closes early at 10 on weekends. It's a perfect example of what makes Malaysian food special, something completely different yet comfortingly familiar.
